Please note that some users are
reporting problems between our server and Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3.0 and up. The
'The server has returned extended information' error occurs when an ftp server returns a
text message to Internet Explorer, such as 'too many anonymous users', a welcome message,
or a file not found message. This does not happen all the time with every mirror. If you
receive this error, please try another one of our mirrors to retrieve your file. Thank
you.
Some users have reported that right clicking on
the mirror and then doing a save target as gets you around this error. Additionally, some
users have stated that copying a URL manually will work. Example:
ftp://anonymous@ftp.coast.ne t/Coast/win95/desktop/filename.zip Please feel free to try
either method.
AOL USERS: If you are prompted for a login ID
and password, use anonymous as the login ID and your e-mail address as a password.
These sites are not run by Coast to
